Hannahlise Barlow
Hannahlise Barlow comes from Stratford-upon-Avon in England, the town of Shakespeare and all things beautifully English. She has a strong office experience in Business Administration and worked her way up to a senior office role quite quickly.
Following her passion for languages and her naturally strong people management skills, a change of career and culture arose in September 2003 when she moved her life to the north of Italy to follow a course in Teacher training. After working with an Italian Language Centre for a year she decided to leave and open her own business, providing in-company training to the biggest multinationals in the Veneto region.
After four and half successful years of business in Italy, she decided to move her activity to China, where the demand for language and skills training would be greater.
Today Hannahlise lives and works in Shanghai. Being a linguist and a passionate follower of all things HR and training, Hannahlise continues to study the latest training techniques and subjects to develop herself and her skills as a Business Soft Skills & Language trainer.
Hannahlise has recently given lectures at Jiao Tong University on CPD (continuing professional development) for the MBA-C course, where she taught top international managers from many different industries. She continues to provide in-company consultancy for training and development both in Language and Soft Skills and designs and delivers the following courses:
Presentation Skills
International Secretarial Skills
Business Etiquette (a guide to Western expectations)
Professional Communication (meetings language)
Dressing for impact (a guide to professional image)
Being more culturally aware (a guide to stereotypes and cultural awareness for international business)
Trade Fair Skills (preparation for dealing with international visitors)
